Author visit to private book club to discuss Before the Last All Clear, the British Government’s wartime evacuation program, and how it affected the author both as a child and later as a young entrepreneur starting up his own business.
Thursday April 16, 2009 - Author Visit & Social - Warwick Forest, Newport News, VA (Private)
A multi media presentation followed by an opportunity to discuss the effects of the British Evacuation program on society on general and the author personally. Afterwards the author will sign copies of Before the Last All Clear for residents.
Wednesday April 1, 2009 – Author Visit – Book Club – The Chesapeake, Newport News, VA. (Private)
Ray will be attending a meeting of the book club at The Chesapeake assisted living facility in Newport News, VA to meet members of the community book club which was organized by Book Club Organizer – Katherine Schulz.
March 27, 2009 - Author Meet & Greet – Muscarelle Museum at the College of William & Mary.
Ray Evans was delighted to have an opportunity to partner with The ARC of Greater Williamsburg to present a VIP event to support the Arc’s Literature and the Arts program. The Multi Media presentation was followed by a question and answer session with the author, book signing and social reception.

September 26th, 2008 – Llanelli Regional Library -Book Signing.Ray was very happy to be on hand to sign books at the Regional Library as part of the celebrations when Before the Last All Clear was voted #1 Readers Choice (English Language Selection) by the Llanelli Reads project.
