Ray is the author of Before The Last All Clear a memoir of his experiences as a child from when he was 6-12, as he was evacuated under the British Government's "Operation Pied Piper" in World War II. He attributes his time as an evacuee, to imbuing him with a tenacity that served him well as an adult. Ray later went on to become a successful business owner.
